Bashing

My Feedback: (3)
"If it doesn't fit in anyother catagory and is about general RC stuff, then post it here in the Clubhouse." Thats what the rule says so here it is.
It would be my general impression that condemming anything without a reason associated with the comment is considered degrading or bashing. Simply stating that this engine is no good or that plane is a piece of junk or a company is awful to deal with is clearly bashing unless accompanied by detail or even previous threads as to why this is? This is pretty cut and dry.
So with that being said, would you consider providing alternatives to products such as other engines or planes or company's as many of us do routinely, provided by decent logic as advice also considered bashing?

That depends I suppose on the situation, and its highly subjective.
For example, if you continue to push a product in several threads where the topic(s) are for different products, you're probably crossing the line.
If the thread is about a particular engine and its merits or downfalls, bringing up another engine with features the people in the thread might like to have would be acceptable. "Engine XYZ has what you're looking for..." would be acceptable.
I guess I would say it's the intentions of the post(er) that dictate whether it crosses the line or not.
