Would McDonalds allow Burger King to go into their restaurants and tell their customers about the specials they had that day?

If I were standing in McDonalds, and saw a friend there, could I tell him about a special that Burger King had that day?

Do you fear that ppl will leave this site to go to another that may have better info? Or is this all politics about what happened in a pissing match between a couple of individuals a long time ago?

Sounds like a group of Nazis, fascist party controlling the RC world. You can only share the ideas the RC Nazis want you to hear or see. I can get my fill of Computer RC from so many different places. RCU is a POS!

Probably, but if you told every customer that came in I don't think McDonalds would like it. To tell just *one* person in here, though, you have to send him a PM.

Still, I don't think the policy helps RCU in general and it does restrict the flow of information that can help it's members, depending on how it's used.

privately? sure...

but that isn't the case....

Your question/analogy would be closer if it were something like... I've I were in McDonalds would they let me use there store, microphone, advertising dollars, posters, and counter to stand on, to tell them about a special elsewhere.....

I bet the answer would be...no

Here is a quote from a PM between The Boxxer Designer and myself building his plane... I had questions on how the landing gear was mounted. Free flow of Ideas and the advance of RC, lots of BS this is about MONEY...... Loose enough members and there profit goes away! Anyway these nazis have to look us in the eye at the trade shows and there a sissy bunch without any testosterone.

Jeremy I should have ask you the question about the landing gear here. RCU censored your PM to me! The video link you sent was full of **** Was the video you were trying to show me one of you doing a dive to an elevator landing in Houston last week? I downloaded the video. It was great stuff! Thanks,
Victor

"The fine folks at RCU will not allow me to post this video because of where its hosted, but this will show you the abuse I was throwing at the Boxxer and its gearmounting last weekend....

Wow.

If you see opportunity here, start up your own website, provide free space for people to vent with all the animosity you have shown, let any triple X site post their URLs (and ads in the posts and descriptions of what's on the site) and see how long you can pay to support it.

I seem to recall that freedom of speech is a privilege in your neighbor's living room. Not a right, not guaranteed by the government in private places. A privilege. I believe the same applies here.

Good luck

Censoring of words and or links has been covered extensively in these forums. This is a good place to end this.
