Default help

Hi,

I need some help here. When i'm typing a new post and make a mistake and move my cursor back to where the mistake is using the arrow keys and make the corection it messes up everything i typed after the mistake....err should i say i have to retype everything after the correction.
I thought hmm thats odd by i can always hold down the left mouse button and cut everything after the mistake then go ahead and make the correction and then paste all the text back in.....WRONG again !! It will only let me hightlight one letter.

This is no big deal if its a small post or reply but once in a while I type a few paragraphs only to discover i made a mistake early on.

Does anyone else have this trouble or is it just me.

Thanks,
John

It's a pretty well documented bug on RCU that will be resolved at the next software update. Until then a different browser should do the trick or simply knowing it's a problem and being patient until we complete an update will be appreciated.

Not sure if this applies but i know in word processors sometimes when you go back to fix a problem you start typing over the old text. Try pressing the "ins" key (insert) and that lets you type with out typing over.
