why cant I reply to a forum now withiout getting the sorry you timed message? last 7 tries were 1 1/2 lines, typed in under 30 seconds. All my setting are as per instructions, I have a good connexn to the net, yet now I cant reply on any forum

I have been having the same problems but not all the time. Seems like only when I really want to respond to something.

its happening more and more about every 2 days now, sometimes for only a few hours, sometimes till I log in again 6 or more hours later

Just a suggestion.

I usually compose my posts in MS Word then cut and paste to the RCU editing box. Especially longer posts. It would be nice though if when it did time out it would leave your text instead of clearing it.

I was rebooting some servers while applying patches last 2 days. If you were on when I was doing this the load balancer pops you to another server and you loose session. this can cause this. if you type any lengthy reply you should copy it right before you submit just in case something odd happens. this should be rare but while we are in maintenance it can happen (or if a server is having issues).

we are upgrading our forums shortly and it should fix many issues, add many new features long overdue and add additional stability
