Can't highlight text in message box.
As of about 1 week ago, we can no longer highlight text in a message box. You know, left mouse click and drag to highlight text. It only highlights one letter at a time and makes it difficult to edit. However, I can still highlight in the subject box. This happens on my home and office computer, and only on RCU and only in the message box.

Have a look at this thread guys. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5952604/tm.htm This has been going on for awhile now. If you click the first letter, hold down the Shift key and click the last letter of the text you want to select that still works.

RE: Can't highlight text in message box.
can you guys let us know what operating system, version, browser and version you are running. we are still trying to fix this bug which seems to only happen for some users. we cannot figure out why yet because we have identical systems as many who have the problem yet cannot duplicate this problem.

RE: Can't highlight text in message box.
I use XP Pro at home and W2K Pro at work. It happens with Maxthon browser which is what I use mostly, but it also happens on AMBrowser which is an earlier version, and IE6.
When I do a carriage return at the end of a line, I can highlight from the carriage return (lower line) up to whatever point I bring my cursor up to on the next line. For me, this problem just started about a week ago. |
RE: Can't highlight text in message box.
I use a Maxthon browser version 1.6.1 and XP Home version 5.1
I've never seen the trouble anywhere else but here. |

I am sure this maxthon browser is the issue. I know we only test with IE and firefox right now
the IE issue above we are looking into |
