Default HobbyKing Quadcopter

Hello,

I wanted to see if anyone has one of these flying? If so can you please give me the gear you have installed. I would like to go cheap and stick with Turnigy motors and esc's. What sort of control boards are out there that are reasonably priced?

Let me know your thoughts

Thanks,
Mike

My package with the quadcopter frames for a friend and myself arrived yesterday. Very nice!Good packaging. The frame has been built for the biggest part. I am building another frame that needs to fly first. The QC frame from Hobbyking (that you can find here, when it is in stock: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=16583) will be next. I am also looking forward to see what motors people are going to use.

In a few weeks, I think 4 weeks max, Hobbyking will come with a KK alike board. So, that one will be on my list too.

Hey thanks for the rely:

Will the KK board have the built in auto-level feature?

What motors and esc do you recommend?

Are your going to tie-in all four motors into one 3 cell pack?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,

The kk board will (most likely) not have an auto level function.

For esc I would suggest Hobbyking SS Series 18-20A ESC (card programmable): http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=6458

For motors: hacker Style Brushless Outrunner 20-28M

Yes, all 4 motors can be tied into 1 3 cell pack, no worries. Get a hi-discharge pack like Turnigy Nano-tech for example, see this category: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...p;ParentCat=85

You English is ok!

You can use <span style="cursor: pointer;">EPP 8x4.5 cw/ccw (2x normal rotating and 2x counter rotating) propellers with this motor. Sorry, I don't have a link for them.
