Extending control link distance of UAV
I am looking for technology which works in the similar way to lora singfox and meshtastic
The concept would be redirecting flight commands over multiple nodes to the aircraft
So case scenario, I would have large fixed wing flying over area in circles, wing would be receiving flight commands for itself, and then forwarding commands for the drone, flying low to the ground in the area, where, without this set up drone and receiver link could not be established
I understand that this cannot be done on the level of let’s say crossfire or expressLRS.
And this can’t be functionality of Ardupilot or Betaflight right.
So is there some protocol i missed ?
Of course with this whole setup ill use the flight controller and ig raspberry pi or some other computer. But still is there even way to transfer the expressLRS commands over lets say wifi UART and then “insert” them into expressLRS radio onboard of the wing ¿
And finally if nothing like this exists right now is there some opensource project or might try to code it myself.
