I am finishing a 50 sized Ultimate with 8 digital servos. I have a Futaba 2.4 receiver 8 channel. I would like to use two receivers for redundancy. Do I need to use all of the old installment safety measures like I did back when I used 72 band radios? I will put them on opposite sides of the fuselage, I will keep the antennas away from each other, I will use separate batteries and swithches etc. Does 2.4 lend itself to doing this successfully? Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim,
Yes, FASST receivers work great in this type of setup. Keeping each receivers antenna at 90 degrees to each other and using the steps you described would be a nice setup.
