Default Spread Spectrum

Mrs. Cross, I was curious if Futaba has ever considered using spread spectrum technology instead of the current set narrow band frequency method? Sure would be a nice way to eliminate one of the biggest headaches in this hobby.

MTF, I'm kindof wondering if the FCC won't FORCE us to do this in the near future to further reduce our band.

BTW, a good write-up on the tech can be found at; http://www.swiss.ai.mit.edu/6095/stu...hitepaper.html

Oh, and for those who think it may just be a little too "high-tech", consider that it was invented during WWII and patented by Hedy Lamarr (1940's actress). Go figure....

Hi, IN! I've had this recommendation before and have passed it along to our R&D and Futaba contact folks.

Thanks for the thoughts!

Sincerely,
Mrs. AnnMarie Cross
