Default servo hum

Hi all, I installed several S3010 servos in a plane and when the power is turned on they all hum quite noticalbly. There is no binding or anything like that. Any help/comments will be appreciated.

It looks as though this was cross posted in the main forum.

If you suspect the hum is excessive, I would check the control rods and make sure there is no binding. If there is no binding, you are welcome to send these in to be checked in our service center.

I have 12 of them in my plane and they all hum. There is no binding. Will a 2.4 radio make a difference from an fm radio?

No, that should not make a difference at all.

There is another problem somewhere, I would check your battery or if using an electic motor, are you using a filter, as motor noise could a problem also.
