I have a 9C. Forgot to turn the radio off and ended up two days later with a flat battery. The whole time the antenna was collapsed. Has this done any damage that I should be aware of?

Quite likely it has not done any damage, but it is something that should be avoided. If the batteries are a Nicad or Nimh type just cycle them a couple of times and they should be right back up to full strength, if not then you were simply unlucky.

If you had your module inserted, I would recommend sending this in to be checked. Having the antenna collapsed causes problems with the standing wave, which in turn causes the output transistor to work harder.
If you didn't have your module inserted, then everything should be fine.

I've done this twice in the the time I've had a 9c, both times the trasnmitter range decreased significantly in a range check so I replaced the module.
I would have it checked before using it again.
