Ive read the 8FG training section manual but I'm not clear on a few things.
I'd like to have a simple 4 channel electric plane set up on the 8FG and occasionally use the 9C as the second box for training my grandson.
Would the 8FG be the Master or Instructor unit or the 9C?
Is the special cable mentioned in the 8FG manual used or the conventional cable?
Any other hints or advice?
Thanks,
Brian

You would need the special trainer cord FUTM4405 for use with the 9C. And yes, the 8FG can be the Master for the 9C student.
Also there are indication on the FUTM4405 trainer cord as to the correct way to hook this up. It will be marked which side is for the Master and which side is for the Student.
Please see the 8FG/S manual on page 42 for more information.
