Setting flaps on a 9cap
I seem to have some difficulty understanding the manual. I searched online and find a lot of different answers. I'm hoping to get a correct answer here:
I'm using the 9cap radio. I'm trying to set my flaps up on switch C so that I can have 3 different flap travel.....0%, 10%, and maybe 25%. This is what I currently have assigned:
ch 1 Aileron
ch2 Elevator
ch3 Throttle
ch4 Rudder
ch5 Flaps
ch6 Aileron
ch7 Elevator
I've been flying it with one position for flaps, but I really want the two.
Can somebody tell me exactly what the programming is?
I will very much appreciate some help!

RE: Setting flaps on a 9cap
you have to slave another channel to flaps you are using chanel 5 so if you have more channels like higher than 7 use 5 as master and say channel 8 a slave, and you can assign flaps to any switch. I use the slider switch for flaps on the left hand side of the transmiter, if you dont have more than a 7 chanel reciever you can always use a Y connector

RE: Setting flaps on a 9cap
Assuming you have already done a Pmix to combine your flaps on channels 5 and 7, you will need to do a couple Pmixes:
Go into Aux channel and set both channel 5 and channel 8 to Null.
Next, go into Pmix 1, make it active, with the master as Offset and the slave as Ch 5. Assign this to switch C in the Center position, Link On, set your desired percentage (such as 10%) and close the menu.
You will need to do the same mix as again but set the second rate at 25% and the switch in the Down position.
As long as you have a mix done to link both channels 5 and 8, turning Link on in these mixes will set both channels for you.
