I have these servos in the wings of my aeroworks extra 300 (100cc size)with two in each wing. After flying them for the past year,I had found some gear slop in the gears.I ordered new gear sets for all four and successfully replaced three sets with great results, but the last servo, after I finished and plugged it in to check it out, it was completely unresponsive(dead). I want to send it in for repair,but having never sent anything in to Futaba for service before(in 32 years of flying,I've never had a problem with ANY Futaba equipment)I just need a little advice.When I send the servo in,will your techs give me an estimate before repairing as I don't want to pay half as much to repair it as it will cost for a new one?

Ask for an estimate to be given and for you to approve any estimate before repairs are performed. You can also tell us to just do the repair if the cost is below an amount you specify.
