It has been brought to our attention here at the Futaba Service Center that there is a problem with static electricity causing the 8FG display to reset while it is setting on a bench.

We have notified Futaba Japan of this and they are checking into this right now.

As the modeler is grounded while holding the transmitter as he is flying, this will not happen. This only happens when the 8FG is powered on, it is set down and then someone who has a build-up of static electricity touches the TX. It does not harm the radio.

We will post more information as we are notified from Futaba Japan.
