I have the 14SG transmitter. And I would like to have a warning if the link from the airplane and down to the transmitter is broken. The senario is when the receiver losses power completely because of some fault in the aircraft. The aircraft may crash but power and here by control could return. Finding the reason for temporary lack of controll is very hard. The futaba powerbox PSS 2018 have a logging Facility to a SD Card, but there is no time stamp on each entry in the log. Only a sequential number. Jeti logs all data received from the airplane with a time stamp. And when the downlink is broken the recording stops. Comparing the the timestamps in the log with the time off the acident may help finding the reason.I know that futaba can not record data from the airplane in the transmitter. I made a warning setup for a low RX voltage, but this works only as long as the is power is suficient to drive the 7008 receiver. Not with a real power break. But if a alarm could be given when the down link is broken that would be a great help.Is there a way to do this ??Best regardsPoul Munch AndersenI hope you can read my English. :-)

To Bill BaxterIf you agree that an alarm for a lost Down link is a good idea. Please forward this to Futaba.Best RegardsPoul Munch Andersen
