I have a 6014HS receiver which I am trying to bind with a 18MZ without much luck. The receiver instructions say I should use a plug in the data port. Which pins are connected as I don't have this plug and will make one.

We're not sure what you are talking about. You need no separate plug/connector in order to link the R6014HS receiver to your transmitter. Just turn on the transmitter, then turn on the receiver. Press the LInk button for more than 2 seconds. Actually, hold it down until the LED goes green. The only time you need a shorting plug in the data port is when you are using the MPDX-1 multiplexer unit.

Thanks for the reply Bax. I ended up finding a menu that allowed me to configure the 18MZ to FASST Multi. All now good. Thanks
