I have a problem so let me try to set up the conditions. I use a Futaba C7 transmitter and a R617FS receiver. Here is my set up.

Channel 1 Rt Aileron
Channel 2 Rt Elevator
Channel 3 Throttle
Channel 4 Rudder
Channel 5 Left Aileron
Channel 6 Right Elevator
Channel 7 "y" Battery & choke

This works well and does exactly what I want. Now, I have an optio-kill switch (42% products) to connect. Is it possible to "y" connect the opto-kill into any of the first 6 channels without interfering with the function already connected?

Please don't tell me to upgrade my xmitter/rcvr - I am so poor I can't pay attention.

There is no place to put an engine kill function with your 7C. You have used up all of the functions. If you go to a manual choke, then you could use channel 7 for the kill. Perhaps you can put the choke and kill on channel 7, where the middle position of the channel would be choke "off", one extreme is choke "on", and the other extreme is engine kill...maybe that would work. Otherwise, you need "more" transmitter.
