I managed to knock my new 14SGA onto the floor. Broke the blade for one of the switches off. I could have repaired it myself, but didn't want to void the warranty.
So I filled out the form to return it to Hobby Services. One of the questions was "is this a warranty repair", and even though I had it for only about a month, I checked "no" and supplied my credit card info so they could charge me for the repair and return shipping, and sent it off to Hobby Services.
They fixed it the day it arrived there, and shipped it out the next day. They replaced the switch with the broken blade and another one near it where the blade was bent... I had not even noticed it.
NO CHARGE. Not even for the return shipping on something that was clearly MY fault, not theirs or Futaba's. I was already sold on Futaba (I have 3 of their TX and a bunch of RX), and I spend 99% of my RC money at Tower because of the great products, discounts, and service.
Couple all that with Hobby Services' outstanding support, and I am a loyal customer for life. The other HH outfit? Not a penny.
