I just purchased a 10J and am planning on using a 7C as a buddy box with it. I have both trainer cords listed in the 10J manual, the 4405 and the 4415. Using the 10J as instructor and 7C as student. Wondering if there is a way to copy a model setup from the 7C to the 10J?

Also, should I have the 7C powered on when using as a the student trainer? (the crystal and antenna are already removed)

Unfortunately, you cannot directly copy a model from the 10J to the 7C or vice-versa.

The student transmitter must be turned off when in the trainer system.
