Default Sbus cords

When programming an sbus servo from the 18sz Tx do I need the orange power supply hub/cord to connect to a battery?
Another question the green and orange cords are the same price. Will the orange voltage supply do the same thing as the
green cord with the addition of connecting to a battery? When using another battery supply does this battery
need to be of the same type and voltage? For instance if I'm using 2s life for the rec can I add a Nimh 6 volt through the sbus connector?
Thanks

We're looking at pictures of the S-Bus accessories, and we don't see orange and green cords. What items are you asking about? Do you have the part number? Are these actual Futaba accessories you're asking about or items from other makers?

If you use a hub, you can opt to add an additional battery pack to power items downstream of the hub.

Im talking about the connector end/lead. Page 40 of the 18sz manual. Yes they are Futaba.
Some show a green lead and some an orange lead confusing. Page 38 shows orange and green
ends.

Thank you. That cleared things up. There are two kinds of hubs. One is specifically intended to be used with a separate battery pack to power the servos/accessories connected to the hub.

Still confused. It seems to me that you can you use either type for servos and connecting a battery.

You can use any or all, but the ones that state "voltage connector" are preferred if you're using a downstream battery pack to power the servos.
