Default Synth module for 9C

Bax:

I have noticed in the last Futaba catalog that there is a synth. module for the 9C system, it is listed as FUTL8910. Could you please give more information about it?

Thanks

Alfredo

I am interested in this as well.
It is not listed on their web site, I also cannot find it at Tower Hobbies.
Any and all help is appreciated.

It is listed in this PDF catalog from Futaba. Doesn't seem to include any information. Page 23 of document.

Hope this is real! It would be even better if the module contained a switch for shift selectability!! Then I wouldn't have to get rid of my old Airtronics stuff!!!

If this is real I am excited. A synth module is something that Futaba really needs to make for this radio.

I called Futaba Tech support and the person I talked to didn't have any knowledge of this module for the 9C and suggested that it might only be available in Asia and/or Europe only. The catalog number FUTL8910 is not in his computer system.

Oh well, since it's shown in the catalog maybe it'll be coming sometime in the not-to-distant future.

I just bought a channel 35 Module to go with the channel 38. I would have rather sold the channel 38 and bought the Synth. Now maybe I can get rid of the Hitec Eclipse that I don't really need except that I have many different RX crystals

This is in the PDF catalog that is linked from the main Futaba site (www.futaba-rc.com). I would like to think that someone knows something about it!

I just saw in the main radio forum that Bill Baxter said that the synth module is slated for release in Febuary 2004.

This is a duplicate thread to the one in the main Radios Forum, so I'll close it.
