Default BB conversion for S-148?

Hey Bax, Krysta,

Does futaba sell a ball bearing conversion kit for the S-148? EMS makes a set but i would rather use a futaba part if it is available.

Thanks,
Dylan

Dylan,

Futaba doesn't make a ball bearing conversion for the S148 servo. The Futaba S3004 is a servo with a ball bearing supported output shaft that has the same power and size specs as the S148.

And the 3004 servo has a direct drive pot and a different mounting pattern, would the case top off a 3001 servo work on the s-148? or should i get EMS BB conversions...

The case sets for the Futaba S148 and S3001 are completely different, and would not work. To convert the Futaba S148 servo to ball bearing operation, you'll likely have to get an after-market conversion.
