i've got a T6X, when i put on my flaps i'm getting more movement on one than the other, this is same no matter if they go up or down, i think its ch6 with more, ch1 has about 10% less movement, both servos are 3003's, both have same arms and netural posistion.
I've tried changing lots of values with no joy, cant say i notice this on just moving ailerons.
i've also tried to mix throttle to flaps for comp set up style, but i had to use both free mixes to mix 3 to 1 and 3 to 6, i thought 3 to 6 would also mix in 1 automaticly and also do the elevator to flap compensate at the same time, or at least leave me the free mix to do that.
currently throttle can do both ch1 and 6 using both free mixes, and i have to do elevator my self

Philly,
the 6X is an entry level computer radio. You are asking it to do more than it can handle. You're looking for the type of performance an 8U super or 9C can give you.
Please check out the travel of your two servos when moved as ailerons, I suspect you'll find you have differential travel there as well, as the 6X doesn't have the ability to adjust the 2 servo's flap movement separately.

i put the ATV on ch 6 the same as ch 1, seamed to help, but not cure. the elevatro mixing, i tried it today, i didnt seam to need to adjust the elevator too much, i can cope with that when i use that throttle flap mixing.
i'll check out those movements better.
thanks

Philly, Two servos, just because they are the same part #, doesnt mean they will have identical travels or centers. You'll need to start out by getting the travels identical, and then work with the programming from there.

Hi, Philly! I'm sorry, i should've given you a better ansewr from the start. Here's what i'd like you to do.
go to a blank, brand new model setup in your radio.
be sure all your servos are properly centered iwthout needing any trim.
using the aileron stick, measure the up travel and down travel of the ch 1 servo.
using the flap dial, measure the up travel and down travel of the ch 6 servo.
Adjust the linkages as much as possible to make these match. Use ATV to do any minor adjustments needed to get the up and down travels identical.
now go into the programming and turn on flaperon. give left and right aileron stick and measure that both servos are going their full travel as they should.
now go into the programming and turn on flaptrim, say to 10%, and then turn the flap dial and ensure both flaps move evenly together.
now turn on airbrake. this should drop your two flaps together and also you can add some elevator into it right in the airbrake feature.
let me know if this helps resolve the problems.

damn
, got two planes on one memory on this one lol, both are fun flys, diffrent types, so i can only really set up these mixes for one of them and expect the elevator compensation to work.
I did notice today i can move one servo ( power off ) lots, and the other not so much, so i know its not central.
I'm so lazy when i throw servos in planes, im still not sure about that netural thing where the little pointer indisplay disapears lol, have to read instructions for once lol.
I'll get around to doing that later, do both planes at once i think, maybe even play with rudder so they both work same way around lol.
Thanks ann, i'll let you know how it gos
