How can I assign a channel t turn on and off with a switch? Like channel 6 or 7 on switch H to turn on and off a smoke system and lights? Channel 5 is already being used for the gear. Can I assign a channel to switch C for flap control? like 0 deg., 10 deg. and 20 deg.?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
To assign a channel to turn a switch off and on, you would need to use a PMix, make the Master Offset, and the Slave any other channel that you have free for the switch (say ch. 7). Make the mix active, then make your percentage a full +100%. Link should be off and then just assign this to which ever switch you would like to control the servo.
For flap control on Switch C, you will need to activate Flaperon, then activate Airbrake. On Airbrake since the Down position will be on, you will want to make change the percentages to read: Ail-1= 20% Ele= 0% Flap=20%and Ail2=0%
This will give you full down flaps in the down position on switch C.
Next you will want to do a Pmix from Offset to Flaps, with Link ON. Put this on switch C also in the Center position, then determine how much down flap you want, say 10%.
This should be what you are looking for.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
