Training system info for 6X.
The 6X has just a simple trainer system which passes the student radio's inputs right to the receiver. Therefore, no mixing, exponential, complex functions such as flaperon, etc, will be available to the student radio. The student radio must have channels 5 and 6 to control these channels (not just a "dummy box", and must offer flaperon to use that control, etc.
Also note that if the 6X is in PCM mode working with a PCM receiver it requires the student radio to also be in PCM to talk with the receiver. Only the higher end radios such as 9C and 9Z will work with a PCM receiver and an FM student box.
