I'm kind of puzzled about what kind of TX modules are compatible with an 8U radio. I have seen mention of the following modules:
FP-TJ-FM
FP-TK-FM
FP-TP-FM
FP-TL-FM
Which are compatible with the 8U?
I just came across this http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/product-faq.html#q19 link. Which indicates that TK and TP modules are OK for the 8U.
Then, what about the TJ and TL modules? Are they compatible?
Specifically I am looking for a 75 Mhz FM module.
Will the 8U work with AM modules? eg (JPK-AM)
Thanks in advance.

Hi guapoharry,
You may use the TP or even the TK module in the 8U. If you are wanting to change to 75Mhz, you will need to use the TJ module. Unfortunately, the AM 3PK module will work only in the 3PK itself.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Hello, Krysta.
I use 8U transmitters with 75MHz or 27Mhz modules to sail my model sailboats in competitions. In one class I need to have a minimum of 6 frequencies to compete. Will the new PK-FSM synthesized surface module work in an 8U set to PPM? Will it work in a 9C or 9Z?
Thanks
Steve

HI Steve,
No, the 8U will not be able to use the Synthesized module for the 3PK, I am sorry.
When we receive the one for the 9C, you will be able to use that one for your 8U.
