I would like to know how to not use the ch 6 knob for the flaps and put the flaps on a switch. Also need to know how to get some down elevator with down flap. Have a Cessna 182 and book recommends 3/16' of down elevator at half Flaps and 3/8' of down elevator trim at full flaps. Can you help? Thanks

Hi Wayne,
You would just need to activate Flaperon, but do NOT activate Flap Trim, this will make it so that there is no action when you turn the Flap Knob.
Now to set flaps to a switch, you may want to try activating the Airbrake function, here you can also set a certain percentage of elevator with the same flip of the switch as the Flaps.....
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
