I am trying to mix elevator input with the flaps(brake flaps). When I try to set the amount of mixing between channels 2 & 6, I can only adjust the amount for the flaps(ch6). I wish to do the opposite, adjust the amount of the elevator(ch2) input. When I deploy the flaps using the 2>6 switch, the plane pitches way too much downward. When I deploy the flaps using the 6>2 switch, the flaps come all the way down with no mixing input from the elevator at all. Is it possible to acheive this function with this radio, or do I need to buy a newer unit with "crow" capabilities?[

Yes I have the manual. I'm still rather new to this hobby. I found that I can mix a predetermined amount of down elevator when deploying the flaps when using offset mixing under the air brake programming section. However I was looking to be able to put in a proportional amount of mixing on both flap control and elevator simultaneously. Doesn't look like this radio will perform this function. I like how the fast planes can really haul down quickly using the "butterfly" or "crow" setup. I like my radio, but I see a new one coming in the future!

Hi Joe Papa,
Go to [link=http://home.flash.net/~dynamic3/super7.html]Dynamic Modelling[/link]
They sell an excellent MANUAL in hardcopy or emailed to you in PDF format for $10.00 usd , titled
"Programming the Futaba Super 7 for Aircraft an Sailplanes " by Don Edberg.
The best manual I,ve seen for your Futaba 7UAPS Radio,
