ATV function isn't working

Hello Guys,
I'm having trouble to set the digital servo for tail rotor. The servo travel is to high and it is bending so I try to adjust it with the ATV function in my futaba 8UAPS but as long as I reduce the travel of the servo it seems to lower the traveling speed too. It moves very slow.
What is happening??

My Feedback: (11)
The ATV should have absolutely no effect upon how fast the servo moves. Something else is going on. ATV should act just like you put a physical limit on the stick, as far as the servo is concerned.
Another way to limit travel is to put the ATV at full, and then move the control rod more towards the center of the servo arm.
