Default 9 C mixing question

This might be a little different but I have a GWS 4 channel receiver and have built a small airplane that I need to just have ailerons and elevator. The question is can I or how can I change the Rudder channel 4 to act as another channel for the ailerons. I have a servo for each aileron. Which would mean I need 1&4 for ailerons 2 for elevator 3 for throttle. If it is possible please let me know. I have been fiddling with this for about 3 days now. If not I will just have to get another receiver.
Thanks

Hi Blair 61,

To be able to do this you will just need to do two Pmixes, the first you will make the Master Ailerons, and the slave will be Rudder. Have Link Off, and Trim On, then set your rates at 100% both ways. Do not assign this to any switch by leaving the Position as Null.

Now to disable any rudder movement from the left stick, you will need to do a second Pmix. Here you will make the Rudder both Master and Slave, Link and Trim both off and the position is again Null, then you will set your rates both at -100%.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
