Default Saving Fail Safe On Futaba 9Cap

I tried programming fail safe into my planes Im planning to fly at Joe nall. They all have PCM recievers I did this to. I know how to set it that it throttles down to idle or shutoff when the radio is turned off, but how do you save this, that it don't go away. I tried different ways, but I can't save it. I always have to set the Fail safe again, but it won't save. How do you save it that I don't have to set it every time.

To program the failsafe, you go into "F/S" in the basic menu. Cursor to the channel you want to set. Move the appropriate stick to the position you want the control to be in when it goes into failsafe. While the stick is held in that position, press the dial until you hear a small two-beep tone. Move on to the next channel. When you're done, hit the "END" button or turn off the transmitter. The settings should remain for that model.

We double-checked with one of our transmitters here, and had no difficulty.
