Default 9C FAILURE

I Just lost my $1000 aircraft when my BRAND NEW FUTABA 9 CAP stopped functioning. On detailed investigation I discovered the receiver isn't functiong properly. Sometimes it works and then stops and then on tapping it starts working again.

My JR PCM 9X has never given me such trouble. Besides I wan't expecting something like this from Futaba anyway then its not an ordinary radio ... I spent $$$ to get a good RELAIBLE ! top of the line radio ... whats even worse is that its absolutely brand NEW.

I hold Futaba responsible for my loss and claim replacment of my system.

Tell me who to contact ... any phone numbers ... e mail address or will you deal with it ?

Usman.

Usman,

I am sorry to hear of your troubles. but we warranty only Futaba items purchased in the US and Canada, you would need to contact someone in the country where this was purchased.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
Krysta

Which receiver are you using? In this area, we have had a high failure rate with the R149DP receivers. I have personally had one quit, acting exactly as you describe. It has been working fine since being serviced. With another flier, 2 out of 2 have quit. The first one was also intermittent, and after being serviced and thoroughly tested on the ground, locked up and caused a crash which totaled a 33% IMAC plane. The other is still working after being serviced by Futaba, but the person is seriously considering switching to JR. Can't say as I can blame him

Later;

D.W.
