Is it possible to use channel 9 for a smoke system (slimline or sullivan) and have the throttle contol the rate of pump, and turn it on and off by a switch?

Hi Guys,
sent this also as a pm in case Futaba deletes it. being a manufacturers forum. Hopefully they will correct the information.
No you cannot use channel 9 as a proportional channel. The mix that Krysta quoted will not be proportional on channel 9, as the instructions even say use channel 8. You can use the mix to make sure the smoke does not activate at low throttle so will it not bog the engine, but to have rate control you need a proportional channel, 1-8 on all futaba 9 channel receivers, channel 9 is only on off.
Good Luck
Paul
