Default servo connector question

I have several old s26 servos with the old "g" type connector. can I simply cut off the "g" connector and replace with the "j" style and use the servos?

Yes, but know that the centering is a little different. You may find it preferable to simply replace them. You can find the equivalent current servo on our disc. servo chart at www.futabarc.com.

please explain the different centering difference if possible- I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean that the base center position is different???
thanks!

The base centering PULSE is different, yes. So if you had the airplane set up perfectly and then just change the connectors and receiver, your center will be different.
