It depends upon the transmitter. The Futaba 9Z and 14 MZ allow virtually any control on the transmitter to select/operate a condition or rate. The 9C allows less flexibility, but still has quite a number of control options for rates and mixers.

I am sorry I should have said on a 9ZAPS.
I cannot find a way to activate either conditions or PMIX's using the sliders. That is what I do not understand.

Sorry, missed that. You can only use a switch or a stick to select a condition. Sliders are excluded from the screen where you can select conditions. It's the new 14 MZ that can put a condition select on any control of the transmitter...switch, stick, knob, or slider.
