OH,
I was helping a guy set up his heli with a 9C today. I could not get switch F to take the GY401 out of heading hold. The only difference between his radio and mine is he was using a PPM receiver.
It worked on the servo test, but not on the servo screen when I flipped the switch.
Is there something not so obvious that would hold that switch in one mode. I looked at every menu. Thanks

Yep...it was assigned to switch F. When I flipped the switch and looked at the servo screen, the display barely moved as if something was restricting the movement. It moved only say 10%.

Sorry, HV, without seeing it, it'd be tough to tell. Way low ATVs, odd mixing, a condition that you're kicking in and out of?
i would go into a blank model and start from scratch. does ch 5 move ok when nothing else is set up? if not, send the radio for service. If so, something is wrong with his other setup. start over.

OH,
OK...Thanks. He is sending it in this winter, there was a blank line across the screen.
It was not the ATV. Checked that. No mixes present. No conditions used other than normal. Oh well, I will tell him to start over. He had another friend try to set it up and had it all messed up. I should have started with a clean model. Thanks for the input.!!!!!!
