Will 7CAP trainer function work with Hitec Focus 4?
I see in the archives that pre-1997 Conquest Xmitters won't work as buddy boxes with the 7CAP. The trick seems to be: send the Conquest in for modification. Our club has two pre-1997 Conquest T4NBL Xmitters that we use as BBs. How much will it cost to have them modified?
Alternatively, I have a Hitec Focus 4 Xmitter that I might use as a BB in the interim. Will it work? I already have the Futaba micro-to-round trainer cord.

Hi Charley,
The modification to the 4NBL's would be done for you at no charge. This update will make these effectively work with your 7C.
As long as you are using the Futaba as the Teacher and the Hitec as the student, you will be able to use the Futaba Trainer cord. If you reverse this and use the Hitec as the Teacher, you will need to go with the Hitec cord.
