My reciever antenna has a little split in the covering about 4 inches from the end, but flies great, should I be worried about it, or should I send it to be repaired or can I repair it, if so with what, and if not how much does is cost to have that repaired

Stang, if you're 100% sure its just a crack in the covering, heatshrink will work fine. If you have the slightest doubt that the antenna itself is split, you'll want to replace it. You can do so yourself or send it for service.
