First let me say , I am posting here on the open forum the same question I put to the Manufacturer's forum in case one of our expert members can help.

This is the equipment used:

6XA transmitter
350 gyro
138DP 8ch pcm rx

OBJECTIVE:
to switch the gyro on/off from ch 5 ( gear ) without using Heading Hold feature.


PROBLEM:
Channel 5 ( gear ) switch will turn gyro on/off but my gyro only operates as Heading Hold (AVCS ) mode. I want to use NORMAL mode only.

SET UP:
Gain switching connector/ single wire yellow ( red plug) from 350 into Ch 5 of rx
Rudder servo into 350 and out to ch 4 (rudder) on rx

I get only AVCS MODE when the switch is "on" and ,as planned, no Gyro with ch 5 switch "off"

Can someone trouble shoot my problem with this information??
