I recently bought a second 7C for my helicopter fleet. When I took it out of the box i turned the transmitter on but the LCD display would not come up. If I wipe my hand over the display it finally comes up. Should I send this in to be looked at? neither of my other radios, 9C, 7C and old Super 7 do this.

It sounds like a bad connection. We'd suggest that the transmitter be sent to us, yes. With a new unit, the warranty should cover any repairs needed.
