Hi! I have a 7U Futaba FM/PCM radio with two problems. Firstly, one of the toggle switches broke off. Secondly, one of the battery terminals has some corrosion on it from the battery sitting in the radio for 8+ years. The radio turns on fine and appears to operate properly. Is it possible for me to fix the toggle switch and terminal myself or is this something I need to send to Futaba or my local store. Thanks!

Mark,
I would STRONGLY suggest sending it to service to take care of the battery terminal and give the radio a full checkup. Changes are good the terminal isn't the only thing corroded.
Please see the 'sticky threads' at the top of this forum for costs for hte check up (flat rates) and then how to send for service.
