It is possible to fry a non-digital servo by installing it into an HRS receiver... this begs the question, why not just have the receiver detect digital servos? Simpler yet, have a different connector for servos used in HRS receivers. I'm no fan of having yet another connector introduced, but surely someone is or has fried a perfectly good servo because they just didn't know better? Seems like there would be a simple solution that could save users the trouble of learning this the hard way.

Dan,
Digital servos can be used on analog systems, and we surely wouldn't want to eliminate that capability. this is a need of the HRS systems that the user MUST be aware of. We can't try any harder to make it loud and clear in every ad, listing, manual, web page, etc.
