Over the summer I purchased a Hobbico Superstar to use as my trainer. It came RTF with engine, radio, and servos installed.
The radio it came with was the Futaba T4VF, but it would seem that there were some differences between the radio it came with and the one I can buy at the hobby store. Most notably the sticks aren't adjustable. The instruction manual even shows the stick adjustment, but my sticks don't seem to be the same (unless I just am not putting enough force on them).
I find these stick heads to be uncomfortable for long flying, and the sticks to be a tad too long for my tastes.
Is there anything I can do about this? (i.e. order new sticks, etc).
Also, are there any other differences I should be aware of?
The transmitter S/N is 11200504 if it matters.

Jeff,
It is a different stick head on the radios packaged with the RTF, you are correct. You would need to contact hte service team to get part #s and instructions to purchase the adjustable units. As far as I know this is the only difference. contact service at [email protected].
