hi i recently purchase this tx 6exh from ebay...it came on without rx. The tx got crystal type 72-7 (72.630) which give channel 42 for tx. So i bought a futaba rx R146iP with xtals for both of my Tx and Rx but it is type 72-12 and the channel is 39.
My question is:
1) after connecting my ESC to rx, it's seems that the ESC didn't detect my TX. Is it because the type of crytal differ from the default setting?
2) If accidentally connect the ESC to ch B/6 to the R146iP, will it cause damage to the xtals/rx?
thanx

HI faizal7678,
First, it is illegal to change the crystal in a transmitter in the US, you would need to check with someone in your country regarding these laws. The 72-12 is the correct crystal for your R146IP receiver.
To answer your first question, if you have changed the crystal in the transmitter, this is your problem, a transmitter needs to be retuned if using a channel other than the one it was tuned to originally.
For your second question, no, this should not cause a problem if it was mistakenly connected in this slot.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
