eclipse tx and futaba rx
I have the Hitec Eclipse 7-Channel can I use the Futaba R168DF 8-Channel FM DC 72MHz Rx in Giant ugly stick? Also does the receiver need to be 72mhz if the TX is 72mhz?

As long as the reciever is not a PCM (Futaba and Hitec use different codes on PCM) your Eclipse will work with any brand of PPM receiver as you can set the shift to either positive or negative. Futabe usually requires negative shift.

Hi icanflysolonow,
Yes, the R168DF should work fine with your Eclipse transmitter. The receiver must be 72Mhz so that the 72Mhz transmitter can communicate with it.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
Sincerely,
