Default 9C Super Swash settings

Can you tell me what the difference between SR3 and SR3S is and when to use it?

I know as per manual but it's not clear enough

Thanks!

Hi Hughes500E,

Page 82 of the manual will show you examples of the different swashtypes. It also lets you know that while there is not much difference between SR-3s and SR-3, the arrangement of the servos are just slightly different. If you look at the example you will see that the Aileron servos are set to a slightly shallower angle on the SR-3s as compared to the SR-3.

When to use this type of swash setup will be dictated by the heli you have and how the servos are mounted within that specific heli. The manual for most helis will let you know which swash type to use.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
Krysta Hunt

At the risk of getting this post deleted let me clarify what Krysta said.

On SR-3 the push rods are 120 degrees and equidistant from each other around the swash plate.

On 3s its for 140 degree ccpm. That is the 2 leading (or trailing) servos are 140 degrees from the front (or back) pushrod and the other two are closer together. It reduces collective/cyclic interaction in a ccpm system.
