From: Rio Rancho, NM,
Why doesn't Futaba have DSC for the 9C system unless I pony up the big bucks for PCM w/DSC receiver? Don't they think FM receiver users have any use for this great function? DSC was easy on my Airtronics and on my JR783 (requiring only a heavy duty switch harness and and inexpensive cable). I've had my new 9C for about 3 weeks and love it but sorely miss the DSC to help in converting over my planes.

Se,
Sorry for your frustration. Futaba only puts the DSC port on the very high end receivers. Honestly, many users never use this function and are often surprised to find out their radios even have it.
I have shared your feedback with the product manager.
Happy flying and enjoy our 9C!
