8SGA-P Heli Compatable???????
Is the older FP - 8SGA-P a compatable radio for heli use. It sure is a sweet old radio with new batteries and a R128DP reciever. all information is appreciated.

The Futaba SGA-P wasn not designed with helis in mind, so the programming isn't heli-friendly. You can likely use it, and work around the airplane features, but you'll not have some of the heli features the heli transmitter had.
