12Z programing for Slimline smoke pump
I am a new 12Z user transitioning out of a 9Z. I am using a slimline smoke system on AUX1, and would like to program the pump to startup when a switch is activated, linked to the throttle position starting at 50%, and have the smoke pump power-up running at 75% to 80% of volume and going to 100% at full throttle. I need to program this to be active only on Condit1, and inactive for all other flight conditions.
I'd appreciate any and all advise. Thanks...

RE: 12Z programing for Slimline smoke pump
In condition 1, you set the smoke pump channel so that it's "switch" is the throttle stick. You then set the stick to turn on the pump when its at the 50% position or more. Your pump will have to have some kind of amplifier circuit to increase the pump speed as more stick is applied. That isn't part of the transmitter's programming.
The pump channel should be set to "Sngl" for the throttle activation condition. Set its ATV to the 0% in all other conditions. Then set the offset amount to raise or lower the line to the proper number to have the pump turned off. Then, no matter what position the stick is in, the pump will always remain off, except in the one condition.
